Colloquium Deadline Extended until February 15th

By request and due to inclement weather, lack of power, and other such wintry complications, the organizers of this year's colloquium have extended the deadline. If you haven't submitted yet, please consider sending a brief email to ego.wvu@gmail.com with a little information about something you've done and would like to share.

We've had a great response from area schools, including universities in Ohio that are sending students for the first time, so send us your proposals for individual papers or panels to make sure that WVU is well represented.

This year's colloquium features our distinguished keynote Christina Straub and our annual tradition of awarding "The Beagle." (More on this illustrious award for the professor of the most assistance to graduate students as the event approaches--Jay, enjoy your last month with the doggie statue.) It's set to be a wonderful event, but your participation is what really makes it worth while.
